Prairie Iron Provided Installation services for this unique town landmark. The installation required the wheel, axle and hub assembly to be installed in separate pieces. The pieces were field bolted then welded into place.

Bnai Brith Camp Lighthouse
Scope: Steel Installation
After a storm destroyed the existing lighthouse, Prairie Irons Steel installation serviced were used to install structural steel for a new lighthouse. This project was unique in the fact that all of our tools, materials and even a zoom boom had to be barged out to the island where the lighthouse was being built.

Prairie Irons Miscellaneous Metals installation services were used to install 2 flights of stairs in the New Stantec Offices at Centerpoint Downtown. The stairs were so big they had to be shipped in 20 foot sections and hoisted into the building through a window. Once inside Prairie Irons field staff were tasked with the stair installation which required field splicing the sections into large 40 foot stringers each weighing approximately 1500 lbs!

After a windstorm left multiple overhead sign structures damaged, Prairie Iron was contacted to assist in the removal of the overhead structures as they posed a serious safety risk to the general public.

Prairie iron was contacted to install “The Waterfront” signs on the New Disraeli Bridge. The work was completed in the early morning during a road closure. Prairie Iron was also contacted to install the 4 pillars at each end of the new bridge.
